Kent D. Shaffer Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded annually to the applicant whose activities
and involvement best exemplify the ideals of Alpha Phi as seen
by the board of directors of the scholarship. These ideals are
Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
Competition for the Kent D. Shaffer Memorial Scholarship is open
to any undergraduate student at Carnegia Mellon University who
is neither a pledge nor a brother of Kappa Chapter, Alpha Phi
Omega, not a past winner of the Kent D. Shaffer Memorial Scholarship.

Carl J. Long Memorial Scholarship for Incoming Freshman
The scholarship is awarded annually to the applicant whose activities
and involvement best exemplify the ideals of Alpha Phi as seen
